The Elf Project Application

We want to make this holiday season special for your family.

To help us do that, please keep these important details in mind:

The Elf Project provides Christmas help to families in Hawkins County TN and the Kingsport area of Sullivan County. We support children from birth to 17, (18 years if still in school) from families who have missed the deadline for larger programs due to emergency circumstances such as child placement, job loss, death in the family, or other emerging situations.

Required Documentation

Valid Email Address and Phone Number
Proof of Address and Residency (current 2026 lease, or utility bill is preferred, current food stamp letter)
Proof of Children (current food stamp letter is preferred; birth certificates or custody papers for all children in household; or current 2026-27 school record)

One Program Only: To ensure as many families as possible get help, we cross check with other Christmas programs. If you are found on another list, we will have to remove your application, and the other program may do the same.
Save the Date: If approved, gift pickup will take place on December 19^th in Church Hill. We will send out the exact time and location as the date gets closer. Please keep in mind December 19^th will be the ONLY pickup day.
Gift Preferences: To help select the most suitable items, please clearly indicate the required clothing sizes and categories (toddler, child, or adult). Feel Free to share information about your child’s favorite hobbies, toys, or interests so the best gifts can be chosen for them.
