The Elf Project of Hawkins County, TN is a heartwarming Christmas assistance program that has been blessing families in Hawkins County and lower Sullivan County since 2014. It all started when three compassionate “Elves” came together to help a local family facing hard times, providing their children with the joy of a Christmas celebration. With the love and support of their church community, donations and gifts were collected to ensure each child experienced the magic of Christmas morning. This act of kindness inspired the Elves to expand their efforts, realizing that many families face unexpected hardships—like job loss, the sudden arrival of a child, or the passing of a loved one—and often miss the deadlines for larger holiday assistance programs. The Elf Project was created to fill this gap and offer hope during uncertain times.
